#3 Myth Summary

Basically, the myth of Demeter is about how she had a daughter named Persephone. And one day The god Hades took Persephone and made her live in the underworld as his wife. Demeter looked for her daughter and was so angry she created a world wide famine. The god Zeus told Hades to return Persephone back to live with her mother Demeter, and he did so, but since Persephone had eaten pomegranate seeds of the underworld she had to live with Hades as his lovely wife during with winter months of the year.
